I'm working on a map for a university, and need to know how to create what I would call "custom paths" using API v3.
A working (v2) example can be found here: http://www.uottawa.ca/maps/ Essentially, what I need to do(conceptually) is to create new paths/ nodes for the API to consider when creating the shortest distance from path A to path B. These include, but are not limited to, inside buildings, and unlisted/new roads. The university I'm working for is under construction, so the ability to add new possible pathways easily would be an extreme benefit.
