This seems like a global issue, you can view it accessing the API v3
sample "Simple Map" (http://code.google.com/intl/pt-BR/apis/maps/
documentation/v3/examples/map-simple.html) and changing the maptype to
satellite.

Do you guys have any status of this issue?
