Hi Norman, I used the new V3 GroundOverlay to make a rainfall map
using data from
http://trmm.gsfc.nasa.gov/affinity/download_kmz.html

But there is no easy way to make the Hybrid Label Tiles over the
image.  I have hacked it so it works by changing the zIndex of the map
pane:
