Construct a toggle function in global scope
function toggleLayer(layer) {
if (layer.getMap()) {
layer.setMap(null);
} else {
layer.setMap(map);
}
}
Then you can create buttons like:
<button onclick="toggleLayer(RichmondTraffic)"> RichmondTraffic </
button>
Note that also RichmondTraffic must be a global variable when called
by a html button.
