First of all sorry if I'm in the wrong forum. I have thought long and hard and this seems like the right one.
Application PC App running maps in a window Currently we pass route details to Gmaps to display along with place markers icons etc. This all works fantastically well. With the introduction of the ability to add Earth in V3 to the map type were looking to add it in. Initial tests have just involved enabling the button and letting Google do the rest. This works seamlessly apart from one thing. The previously used place markers and icons that display correctly in the map/satellite and terrain are no longer displayed and were left with a big RED X instead. So my question, is there a fix for this can we get Earth mode to use our markers? If so how? Remember as far as I know we get no feed back when buttons are pressed on the map so if we had to change the script to direct it to use our markers I'm not sure we would know when. We could take back control of the buttons if need be and this is the way we used to control the display. However the Google controls are common and we would prefer to use that system. Now a couple of other questions Can we force Earth to a set elevation when we pass it a route? I not that if you alter the angle to that required, then revert back to maps and alter the route. Then go back to earth it does readjust the angle. Lastly Thank you Google, G Earth is just awesome! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
