I have a v3 google map on a page in which i overlay a blue circle using KMbox (http://esa.easypagez.com/v3boundsbox/kmbox.htm) which is an approximate guess of where I think their point of interest lies. I've set it up so that the user can click on the map and the circle disappears and a marker takes it's place. This works quite well but if the user uses any zoom controls after clicking on the map they blue circle overlay reappears again. I've tried attaching a zoom event listener and using the method .remove() for the KMbox but it doesn't disappear.
