For editors in a company I often have to add very quickly GroundOverlays to maps sometimes, and always struggle getting the correct coodinates, only to find out, that the used image does not fit the requirements (wrong angle, stretched, ...)
This leads to the development of ThannMap as a helper app. Features: - load a local image - drag the image around - rotate the image - scale the image - stretch the image - set opacity - get the image and the source for the map - if used image has EXIF GPS data, autocenters the map when loading the image Backdraws: - Works fully only in Firefox 3.6+ - in Chrome (dev channel ) the opacity is not working correctly - not sure it it works in Chrome 5 - uhm, memory consuming ;-) Link: http://thannmap.appspot.com If you find it useful, feel free to use it (see control tab "Blueprint") and let me know...
