OK, given that the handleApiReady() function is called with: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/ js?sensor=false&callback=handleApiReady"></script>
...how do I pass the variables to it? Javascript is not very familiar to me. Thanks for the help.
