Hi, i just started to work with maps api but immediately found very strange behavior: example from http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/introduction.html working only if no changes made to the code. Even if i add only this string :
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/ TR/html4/strict.dtd"> it fails, i receive some data but it ends with "204 no content" message from gg.google.com and i can see only blank page. I haven't found any explanation of this. Only a few mentions of the same problem in previous firefox and firebug versions.
