Hello Google Ajax API loader for version 2 (http://code.google.com/apis/ ajaxsearch/documentation/#AJAX_Loader) works for me to load page asynchronously after the page has loaded.
However the common loader for V3 - (http://gmaps-samples- v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/commonloader/commonloader.html) does not work for me. I understand that v2 API can be loaded directly from http://maps.google.com/ using the async and callback parameters but for V2 only the callback parameter is required. I have tried using the V2 loader for V3 map but it does not work. How can I get V3 common loader to work the same way as V2 and also use the async?
