I've got an eventlistener for the click event on my map to drop a
marker. It will also drop a marker if it is a double click, which is
really just the user zooming in. I understand there is no way in my
click event to anticipate or not a double click event, but I'm sure
this problem has been solved by someone. I can't really come up with
any clever solutions besides delaying the marker placement for some
amount of time and using a global variable that the double click event
manipulates to control whether it happens or not. Seems kind of
hackish, and I am out of my element when it comes to javascript.
Anyone have ideas or see anything that works in the wild?
