That page works for me (well, depends on what you mean by work), I see
a map, with this message:
Error: Your browser doesn't support geolocation. Are you in Siberia?

Is that what you mean by doesn't work?

v2 and v3 are completely different.  I'm not sure what you mean by
that.

I see a map in firefox also.  I am not using firebug though.
