I am trying to build a map that uses KML automatically generated by
Google's Picasa Web Albums. So far so good. My map reads in the KML
easy enough and displays the pictures on the map, however not quite
how I would like. There are a few things that I want to do to the
markers but I am not sure if it is the KML that needs changing or
JavaScript code adding. What I would like to do is the following:

1) Add a small border around the edge of edge marker - I'm guessing
this is the KML;
2) Give each marker a drop shadow;
3) Do that neat trick that you see on Google Earth where you have
several markers in close proximity and they move apart when you hover
the mouse over them.

If someone could point me in the right direction of some resources
that might help me work through some of these wishes it would be much
appreciated.

Regards
