Ok, just to make sure I got that...

<script>
var map ;

function callmap() {
map = whatever to call the map
}
function resizemap() {
google.maps.event.trigger(map, 'resize');
}

...

and on the body somewhere

 ... onClick="callmap()" > Map </a ....
 ... onClick="resizemap()" > Close Map </a ...

Is the event trigger enough to trigger a resize? Or do I need any
other listener on it ?

Thanks again!!
