Hi All I am a newbie to the maps API, and I am considering developing an application which will allow the end users to vote for, or rate, roads. Having skimmed the documentation, I am not sure if this is likely to be easy.
Rather than having markers at points along a road, I would ideally like the application to highlight a whole length of road (say between two towns), and avoid the problem of user A creating a new entry in my database for a road which already existed. Does the API anywhere expose the roads between towns, or road junctions, as objects in their own right?
