Hi there,

I am teaching myself to implement google maps on my new website. It's
supposed to appear in the white area on this page:
http://www.jansenderek.com/wordpress/about

So far I split the sample code and put it as follows:

<b>Header</b>
<script type="text/javascript">
window.onload = function() {
   initialize();
}
</script>
<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no" />
<script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false";>
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
  function initialize() {
    var latlng = new google.maps.LatLng(-34.397, 150.644);
    var myOptions = {
      zoom: 8,
      center: latlng,
      mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP
    };
    var map = new
google.maps.Map(document.getElementById("map_canvas"),
        myOptions);
  }
</script>

<b>Stylesheet</b>
.map_canvas {
        margin:0 auto;
        width:490px;
        height:410px;
        background-color:#fff;
        float:right;
        padding-top:10px;
        padding-left:10px;
}

<b>Single wordpress page</b>
<div class="map_canvas"></div>

The Javascript seems to load, but the map does not appear. Anyone
knows where my error lies?
