Hi, I'm not a novice with Google Maps JS API but in taking on some larger projects in the near future feel that a bit of professional guidance would be helpful.
I am looking for a book to work through techniques such as overlays, custom info windows/elements and some of the common developer problems with mapping in V3 such as performance (lots of map markers etc.) Also KML as I will be working with heavy data sets which need to be displayed visually (e.g. not just a dump of numerical data in a table) I'm unsure as to whether I should look at these individually e.g. Maps seperate to KML or if anybody knows of a single book which encompasses a lot of this. The only real book I have seen for Mapping in V3 that looked any good was http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beginning-Google-Experts-Voice-Development/dp/1430228024/ref=sr_1_1?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285682720&sr=8-1 but this doesn't look like it covers KML as such. Any help, advice or book ideas are welcome to cover the range of topics I'm after. Thanks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
