I will be combining them at some point.  If you look in both you will
see the code that process the query string:
     // split the rest at each "&" character to give a list of
"argname=value"  pairs
      var pairs = query.split("&");
      for (var i=0; i<pairs.length; i++) {

You just have to add the code from one page into the other pages loop
that processes them.
