Sorry to say this, but it seems that this (latest) version of the API is crap :-(
Besides the fact that the disableDefaultUI option DOES NOT hide the streetview controller (the little orange man) - so I'd have to use the distinct streetViewControl: false option, it also messes up with my HTML. It seems you haven't closed some tag (or something), since all my layout is messed up (when using the latest public version of the API, displaying by default the streetview control). I've reverted to v=3.1 until a better (as in - stable) version appears...
