Thanks for your help. I gave it an hour this morning of chopping and changing the locations of code and how and when they were called but still got nothing.
Due to a tight deadline to get this site complete, I have modified the code so it doesn't rely on tabbed divs to display the information. Not what I wanted to do for the site but I don't have too much choice at the moment. I will revisit it after the site has been launched and I can play with it some more.
