>From what I've been reading, I'm Sure that "Google Maps" can do this, but it's beyond my level of programming expertise.
I want to create a business website, wherein a USA-based person would type in their Zip-code... A "map/picture" would "pop-up" showing an outline of that Zip-code with only the major streets, so that the person could then DRAG the "I'm Here" window to his Approximate location. For example, if I type in 92843, I'd get something like this, INCLUDING a bit of the surrounding area... http://www.screencast.com/users/Mark5127/folders/RHE%20mktg/media/3823043b-dda0-4141-8b84-d121d07cf88d I see a problem, in that some zip codes are geographically tiny; some are huge. Thus, the "zoom" factor cannot be the same for all of them? Thus, you can't just go off of the Center of the Zip-code with Lat/Lon data? I don't know. You're the programmer. Unfortunately, I'm bloody Broke. I CAN Promise you some payment after this earns some $, but I can't afford anything right now. I'm trying to get myself OUT of the financial Hole that I'm in. And THIS is a Million dollar idea. OK... I'm dreaming. How 'bout this... After I make $1000, then I'll send you $300. I DO PROMISE that I Will send that. Is that OK? Please email me...
