I generated a very much simplified version of the page that is
manifesting the Invalid Argument exception; you can find it at
http://www.imagingsurvey.com/mapsapi.aspx. The expected behavior of
this test page is straightforward. There are two tabs on the page and
initially the page displays a tab containing a map and a link button
which when clicked should just change the view to the other tab, which
has a link button to return to the tab with the map.

Browsing this page with IE8 (8.0.6001.18702) will apparently display
the expected behavior, but will cause the "Done with errors on page"
message - examining the details for the error reveals the Invalid
Exception in main.js of the API (which also occurs when navigating back
to the original tab). Browsing the same page with FireFox (3.0.10)
results in a more serious problem in that clicking the link on the tab
with the map doesn't even switch to the other tab. Browsing the page
with Opera (9.64) results in the expected behavior and I don't see an
error (I'm not familiar enough with Opera to know if it is actually
reporting the error somewhere).

As I mentioned in a previous post, loading version 3.1 of the maps API
does NOT illustrate any of these bad behaviors, but 3.2 and 3.3 do...

I hope this helps somebody out there point me in the right direction to
fix the problem. If more detailed information is needed please let me
know via this thread...
