Hi there, I've successfully managed to create an overlay map type whose titles were obtained from a WMS server, however I could not find a way to identify what parts of the image would represent 'markers' so user events could be handled.
My first attempt was to have my WMS server generate an HTML image map as the output of a GetMap request and then use it on the client side. Even though I could add it in the DOM tree, I had no success at all on handling events. Basically I would like to have something similar of what is done when adding a fusion table layer.
