Can you provide a reference for CANVAS, not for SVG ?

Keep in mind, a click must be associated with a specific poly. All
polys have been combined into the same CANVAS tile. The original
shapes are not directly accessable. Point in poly analysis or pixel
color analysis is required. Overlapped polys with alpha values less
than one will result in blended pixel colors.

I am working on something using bounding boxes & pixel colors. If the
result is ambiguous, point in poly analysis will be able to resolve
it. Overlapped polys ought to be recovered.

Rossko,

Can you point to an example using the API with a couple hundred
moderately complex polys ? Does it still use SVG ? How well does it
perform during dragging / panning / zooming ? Perhaps it has improved
recently.
