Hi everyone, I have been working on improving a v3 map (recently upgraded from v2) that displays new deal projects in california: http://livingnewdeal.berkeley.edu/map/
The plan is to expand this to a national project, which would require a considerable amount of markers displayed on the map. I am currently getting location info from a mysql db with php/ json and using marker clusterer to limit the amount of markers shown. Is this method scalable to show say 10,000 markers or more (currently there are 850 on the map), or should I be looking into using php to output xml data?
