Hi Working on a Google Maps game and we need to retrieve information about roads in our current area (determined by GPS). We've done all the basics, figuring out the location etc. and we are now trying to retrieve a list of street surrounding that area, coordinates of the streets (not names). We've been looking at this demo online:
http://maps.forum.nu/gm_driving_radius.html Which suggests that what we are trying to achieve is possible but can't find information as to how to retrieve details about the street. Are streets polylines? Is there a database of coordinates that can be retrieved and how is this done?
