Hi all, I'm totally new to using any type of API. I'm a self-taught web designer (stressing designer over developer).
I'm working on a site and am attempting to use the maps API to give directions. All I need is a text field where users can type their starting origin. The directions are to a bar mitzvah, so the destination will be pre-set. Problem is I have no idea how to do this. I have at least gotten as far as making the page, adding the scripts, and calling the map using some demo code I found. The map is here: http://www.skyz100.com/directions.html.
