I don't alpha test microsoft software.Their released software is bad
enough.  It would be nice if they behaved like all the "standards
compliant" browsers.

IE has a setting
Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Browsing
Display a notification about every script error
There are (or were) even javascript debuggers available for the
earlier IE browsers, but I think they have removed them.
