Hi Rednek Thanks for your answer. I downloaded "tabber" (from http://www.barelyfitz.com/projects/tabber/) and following some of the examples from my first post I managed to sort it out.
As it was really hard for me to understand those samples (could not find any easy sample), I provide here a pretty clear example: http://www.lariereta.com/testCustomMarker/testTabsMarker.html On the sample I draw a custom icon with 2 fixed tabs and 6 more "normal" markers wit randomly generated tabs. The sample use 2 files from the tabber library: tabber.jss tabber.css (which on the zip downloaded from the tabber site correspond to example.css). Both files can be found on the sample link on the js & css directories. Hope this helps.
