Does anyone know what the magnification from zooming one level is? I'm assuming that zooming is linear (zooming from zoom level n to level (n+1) multiplies each dimension by a constant k); if this assumption is false, is there an equation that determines the extent of magnification based on the zoom level? I'm attempting to keep a geographically-linked object a constant size on the Google Map regardless of the zoom level (so it takes up more lat/long when zoomed out), and knowing exactly what this magnification constant is would be helpful (unless there is an easier way to do this?). I looked through the documentation, but can't seem to find any specific logistical information like this. Thank you in advance.
