Hi!
I am trying to create markers that have no icon, only their names on the map
while these markers are stored in a KML file.
For example if I use my KML file in Google Earth the KML file's <Icon> tag's
emptiness forces the marker to have no icon at all which results in having
only the name of the marker visible. This same KML generates a blue marker
in Maps. I tried using a custom marker with a picture with transparent
background, but still no luck, and the <name> tag still does not appear when
the map loads.
Can anybody help me finding a solution for this?
