There's an issue filed against this (2792, see http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2792), but the issue is closed as won't fix. So thanks for adding some clarification to the issue.
1) Any ideas on which browsers would successfully project the panorama on a sphere? I've tried Chrome v10.0.648.82, where WebGL seems to be enabled, on a modern Mac hardware, but the Street View panorama still looks flat rather than projected. Which browsers/platforms should work? 2) In the Google Maps v3 API, is there any way to use the Flash version of Street View, as was used in the Google Maps v2 API? As far as I know, there weren't any projection issues in the Flash version, which worked flawlessly across browsers/platforms. Thanks!
