1] Add a column to your spreadsheet e.g. 'Symbol'.
2] Fill the column with icon image URL's like:
https://chart.googleapis.com/chart?chst=d_map_pin_icon&chld=aquarium|FFFF00
I would recommend Google Charts Api map pins

3] Set 'icon' property to the 'symbol' column feed by adding a line:
props.icon = pnts[i].gsx$symbol.$t; // symbol column for marker
