Hi,
This has only started happening on our site in the last couple of days so
I'm thinking it might be related to the new release. We currently use the
nightly version of the API and we load it asynchronously, e.g.:
google.load("maps", "3", {params});
When loading some of our pages that use maps (e.g.
http://securebooking.eviivo.com/MyWebsite/FairlawnHouseSP47DL.home), we're
getting the following Javascript error when the map loads:
Webpage error details
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64;
Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR
3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; InfoPath.2; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)
Timestamp: Tue, 22 Feb 2011 15:23:00 UTC
Message: Unspecified error.
Line: 32
Char: 1035
Code: 0
URI: http://maps.gstatic.com/intl/en_ALL/mapfiles/api-3/4/2/main.js
I've noticed it's only happening for me in IE8 (and also Compatibility
View). I've also noticed that there's supposed to be a marker displayed on
the map, but it isn't showing up, so maybe this has something to do with it.
In FF and Chrome the map loads fine with no errors and the marker is there.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
