Thank you Larry! Adding a KML layer is part of what I was looking for. So far I've been able to:
1. Add a KML My Maps layer to a map 2. Add a KML Picasa layer to a map Very cool! Whenever new content is added to either of these sources my map show the latest from both. I'm still wondering if there is an API for adding content to a "My Map", and get a list of maps for an account... My Tracks for Android must be using some API to add tracks and weigh-points.
