Thanks! Adding the function(){...} did the trick for that issue... and I
had been staring at the code for too long and just did not see the
discrepancy in arguments - the new set of eyes is most appreciated.
IE is still refusing to acknowledge that variable, and I am going to have to
redo some logic with where the function is called with setTimeout()... but
one speed-bump has been eliminated!
