Larry, you are great, thanks a lot! Another issue: It seems that v3 doesn't take the KML <rotation> parameter into account, right? It leaves the bitmap unrotated. I guess I just have to rotate the PNG beforehand and use <rotation>0</rotation>, then (or remove the parameter). - epizentrum
