I am building a website and would like to make the below happen, would this be possible with JavaScript or should I work another route.
The website would have a satellite view google map with a series of pull downs to the right. I would like to have polygons appear in certain spots in response to checkbox checks or pull down list selections. So lets say I have a map and want to find ice cream shops, if ice cream shops are selected from a list of shop types, I would like a polygon appear over all of the ice cream shops for the user to click on to get more information about the shops. Also, if ice cream shops are selected and then a price pull down selects ice cream for 2-3$ (from the default of any price) I would like the ice cream shops that have ice cream at this price to be shown exclusively. This is most likely a sizable task to accomplish but I am a quick learner and have time to learn, any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
