Thank you Thoern for the very interesting info when I didn't know one could 
do that. I'm also questioning whether it's better to save the output as a 
file rather than generating KML for every request then make it a cron job 
that creates a new file every hour. What do you think of attempting to make 
the file static: Should I try both ideas or will splitting the KML simply 
enable what I'm looking for since it's easier to generate KML than 
generating a new static file?
