You (probably your IP address) are blocked for as long it takes for
your usage to go below the relevant limit.

For a rate limitation, you are blocked for as long it takes for the
number of requests to drop below the trigger number per minute (this
varies).

For a request limitation, you are blocked for as long it takes for the
number of requests in the immediately-preceding 24 hours to go below
2500.
