Seen on Swiftfox 3.6.13, but not tested elsewhere (Swiftfox is an optimized Linux port of Firefox). I found a workaround and don't have the failing code anymore.
Added the marker to a default location and then moved it with a call to setPosition after an address was entered by the user and geocoded. After the move the marker could be grabbed and it would lift like it was going to move, but the x appeared in the corner next to the pegman and it would not drag. I'm happy with my workaround of clearing the old marker and adding a new one at the new position. I'm mostly wondering if my initial approach was wrong or correct. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
