Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear it's being addressed. This
helps me decide what to do with my app, though it also leaves me with
a school of eels that need a home.

I created a map editor in V2 that includes the ability to edit
polylines and polygons. My editor creates a map that the user embeds
on a page of his or her site. I've updated the viewer part to V3. I
think I'll leave the editor part as a V2-based tool for now and
replace it when the V3 version is ready. If Google was _not_ going to
add poly editing, I'd probably stick with V2 for as long as possible
and then write my own poly editor or pick the best third-party option
available at that time.
