I made the following map, which behaves correctly:

http://crocdoc.ifas.ufl.edu/projects/saveyourlogo/map/
(JS here:
http://crocdoc.ifas.ufl.edu/projects/saveyourlogo/map/js/trackingmap.js )

However, when the map is embedded via iframe into another site's hidden div,
and then the div is made visible, the map is off-center in FireFox, and
completely broken in IE8. (I have not tested other versions of IE yet.) It
works fine in Chrome and Safari.

This is the site where the map is embedded:
http://saveyourlogo.org/en/programs/crocodile/american-crocodile/
(Hit the "Actions" button to unhide the div with the map.)

If you don't want to bother with browser testing, here are some screenshots:
Firefox 4: http://i55.tinypic.com/mud2zr.png
IE8: http://i55.tinypic.com/1zxxdud.png

Is there any way to fix this from within the Javascript, or is the hidden
div method destined to break the map? I don't have much power over the site
that is embedding the map, so I would like to make the map functional
without needing any major changes on their end, if possible.
