I would like deeper/richer access to the Directions service API beyond Travel modes: DirectionsTravelMode.WALKING. I would like to introduce additional factors/costs into the calculation of pedestrian/walking directions. Would this be something Google would be interested in exposing in the near term (12 mos), or am I relegated to building this using ESRI server and SpatialAnalyst extension, or a FOSS GIS technology stack?
