Not that I have more details, but I am having the same issue. When I go to the google sample provided above(http://code.google.com/apis/ maps/documentation/javascript/examples/streetview-map.html) it does the same thing. The control comes up fine, with the zoom in/out, direction compass, street lines and names, and the move forward/back/ left/right arrows, but no imagery. Tried it in both IE7 and IE8 and it doesn't work. FF 3.612 does, though.
