Great help - thank you very much.I've got it all the markers and infoboxes 
on there now.

I'd originally used lightbox2, then changed it to slimbox and forgotten 
that onload="initialize();" was no longer needed.

Didn't know how to debug Javascript in Firebug - now I do!

One other thing (if you don't mind)...

I'm using  pixelOffset: new google.maps.Size(0,0), to position the 
infoboxes, which is a nightmare and probably also not the right way of doing 
it. Do you know if there is a way to position them using google.maps.LatLng?
