I was looking at the sample code for the new places library in V3. I didn't
see any place to add your API key to a request. It is documented in the
Places API document but not in the Places V3 map library.

The reason I ask is that the daily quota is increased dramatically when you
have billing enabled in the Google APIs console.

The sample contained in the blog post

http://googlegeodevelopers.blogspot.com/2011/05/places-everybody-show-is-about-to-begin.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+GoogleGeoDevelopersBlog+%28Google+Geo+Developers+Blog%29

does not use a API key.

Thanks,
Al
