The scenario consists of simple webpage designed for a smart phone
that:
1) takes the user current position via gps
2) place a marker at the correponding position
3) move window via panTo
4) add the point to a polyline (a trail)

Since the user can move to an area out of his data service, I expect
some internet connection downtimes. During these periods, is it
allowed to execute the 4 steps I've mentioned before? Off course that
new tiles will not be acquired during the downtime.
Is there an event handler that fits for this, so I can avoid updates
till the network is restored?

Best regards,

Alexandre
