I've researched and found several examples in this forum with drawing polylines. However, the topics which discuss making the polylines clickable are a little out of my realm when it comes the programming with java. Perhaps explaining my situation will help and using this forum as a sounding board. I've been tasked with creating a map that will track the current Construction projects and locations of road closures on an interactive map with details in infowindows. My first thought was placing markers at locations of the construction and having an infowindow with the details. Except this one project is running new water lines that cross several streets and areas. I would like to have a polyline that the user clicks on for information in an infowindow.
The other option is to have the polyline and move the marker as the project progresses across the streets and areas, but that seems like extra maintenance. Can someone point me to a great example of a map with clickable polylines and markers. It would be great if I could toggle on/off projects and categories in projects on a sidebar but that may be my long term goal as this is all unchartered waters for this newbie. I do not have a link yet, as I'm just getting this going. I'm able to make many of the examples I found in forums work, but can't find one similiar to what I'm trying to do. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
