>From my playing about with the user-agent in Safari, I could see a difference between Webkit, Mozilla and IE browsers and there was a special variant for touchscreen devices as well. And I can understand why all those variants are needed. But why would Chrome and Safari need different variants when they are both Webkit browsers? The code served to a Chrome browser appears to work in Safari, and has much quicker loading times, so why would there be any need for something different? Just my little thoughts!
